What Happens After You Send It
So the form doesn't feel like it vanished into an inbox nobody reads.
- An independent contractor responds — information may be shared with one local contractor who covers Nashua, Hudson and Pelham so that contractor can review the request and follow up.
- They call you to book a time — when a schedule allows. A Nashua no-heat or no-cool call does not hold a spot.
- They diagnose before they quote — you are told what is actually wrong and what the complete scope includes, and then you decide. Declining at that point is an ordinary outcome, not an awkward one.

- Roughly how old the equipment is. The manufacture date is usually printed on the data plate inside the cabinet door, and it changes the repair-or-replace conversation entirely.
- What it burns — natural gas, oil, propane or electricity — and whether there is a heat pump in the mix.
- When it was last serviced, even if the honest answer is "never, we bought the house in 2021." That is an extremely common answer and it tells the technician where to look first.

Questions Before You Get in Touch
When will somebody call me back?
If your heat or your AC is out, call rather than using the form and describe it. A call does not reserve a visit. Other Nashua requests wait on a callback, and that callback depends on the schedule. If a full business day passes with nothing, ring (603) 932-6437 instead of submitting a second time; a duplicate entry does not move you up the queue, it just creates two records of the same job.
Do you cover Hudson and Pelham the same way you cover Nashua?
Hudson has its own notes because it sits across the Merrimack and shares the Nashua contractor pool. Pelham is different: it is on the Massachusetts line, and a Massachusetts license does not authorize HVAC work on the New Hampshire side. Pelham is not booked as if it were the same kind of call, for that reason. The permit and inspection consequences follow the property, not the truck.
Can I get a second opinion on a quote I already have?
Yes. Say upfront that it is a second opinion rather than presenting it as a fresh diagnosis — good contractors are entirely comfortable with that and several will tell you plainly when the first quote has a reasonable scope. The useful outcome is either confirmation or a materially different recommendation, with both scopes written clearly enough to compare.
